[edit] Summary

Photo by Vladislov Sativtsky of the Danseur Leonid Sarafanov (on the elephant) with two unidentified extras in the ballet La Bayadere, taken in St. Petersburg, Russia, 2001.

Photo comes from my own collection and was scanned by me. I attained the photo - a glossy print given out along with other photos - from a press conference given by the Kirov Ballet for the premiere of their reconstruction of La Bayadere, given in New York at the Metropolitan Opera House in 2002.

My rationale for fair use is to illustrate the article on the composer Leon Minkus which was created for educational purposes, as no free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information. Mrlopez2681 09:21, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
