[edit] Contribution to Society

The sensation began in the small community of Northern Liberties, from which, by the mechanics described in Malcolm Gladwell's 2002 hit, "The Tipping Point," the craze quickly spread throughout Philadelphia and eventualy infiltrated the whole of America's east-coast Megalopolis.
[edit] Pegged Jeans
The process of pegging one's jeans is simple. First you must fold up some of the material at the bottom of your jeans, having the general effect of making your jeans tighter around the lower shin. After this is done, the jeans are folded up from the bottom twice, which has the effect of holding the original fold in place. This entire process yields an attractive look by which one's calves appear skinnier and overly loose jeans appear to fit.
