Lemuel J. Bowden

Lemuel Jackson Bowden (January 16, 1815January 2, 1864) was an American lawyer and politician from Williamsburg, Virginia.

Bowden served as mayor of Williamsburg, Virginia from 1862 to 1863 and represented Virginia in the United States Senate in 1863.

Bowden died while in office at Washington, D.C. and is buried in the Congressional Cemetery there.
