Leissigen is a municipality in the district of Interlaken, in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. The correspoding evangelical-reformed parish Leissigen includes the municipality of Därligen.
The name Leissigen comes from the Old High German personal name Lantgis and the toponymic suffix -ingun, meaning "of the people of Langtis."
Leissigen lies in the Bernese Oberland on Lake Thun. On the southern border of the municipality lies the Morgenberghorn (2249 m).
Over Leissigen lies the Meielisalp with the scenic restaurant-hotel Meielisalp.
