Leightonfield is a CityRail railway station on Sydney's Bankstown and Inner West railway lines. It serves an industrial area. It has two side platforms. There are also tracks for goods trains, which will be extended when the Southern Sydney Freight Line is built.

The station is serviced by up to 2 trains per hour in each direction on the Inner West Line during peak hours and at night on weekdays, and 2 trains per hour on the Bankstown Line all day. This makes 4 trains per hour in each direction during peak hours and at night on weekdays, and 2 trains per hour in each direction outside these times. The trains are not evenly spaced.
