Leichhardt Falls

Leichhardt Falls are found on the Leichhardt River, approximately 50km upstream from where the river empties into the Gulf of Carpentaria, in Queensland, Australia. Like the river, the falls are named for Ludwig Leichhardt. The falls are not renowned for their height, but for their stepped nature and their breadth.
