Legolasegb was created by combining the name of the Lord of the Rings character, "Legolas" with the first letters of Eternal Guardians of Britannia.

The Eternal Guardians of Britannia was a guild, created in anticipation of the release of Ultima Online. Prefering dwarves, my first choice was to be known as "Gimli," also a character out of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. However, a character already existed with that name. As a result, I chose the name Legolas. The characters "egb" were appendaged to my title in various places online, since the name Legolas has, in almost all cases, already been taken.
