Since it began producing plastic bricks, the Lego Group has released thousands of play sets and characters themed around space, robots, pirates, vikings, medieval castles, dinosaurs, cities, suburbia, holiday locations, Wild West, underwater, underground, the Arctic, boats, racing cars, 9V and infared trains, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Spider-Man, Batman, SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender and more. As always, new Lego pieces and characters are released frequently along with new sets.
