Legislative Research Commission

Legislative Research Commission (LRC) is the agency that provides staff and research support for the Kentucky General Assembly. The LRC was created in 1948. The LRC is led by the elected leadership of the Democrat and Republican parties in both the Kentucky House of Representatives and the Kentucky Senate while the agency is run on a day to day basis by an executive director.
