Leggiuno is a town in the province of Varese, Lombardia, Italy.

Reno, which is a town in Leggiuno county, has the monastery Santa Caterina del Sasso Ballaro, which overlooks Lago Maggiore. Local tradition has it that it dates back to the 12 century and was founded by the hermit Alberto Besozzi. Though still in use as a monastery it serves mainly as a tourist attraction and pilgrimage site.
