[edit] on the current COTW
It's Socialist Party USA because both it and Popular Front for the Liberation of Oman had two votes, and both were nominated on the same day. So I went with which was nominated first, and Socialist Party USA beat Popular Front for the Liberation of Oman by 7 minutes. --Revolución (talk) 23:19, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] name
do you think the name is too long? If we do go with a shorter name, I would suggest: Leftist Collaboration of the Week or similarly Leftism Collaboration of the Week.
This would open the topics to also leftist subjects other than parties and movements. --Revolución (talk) 23:25, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
- I completely agree - Collaborations tend to fail, broadening it out would help to counter this. I am interested in leftism but the specific parties aren't at the top of my list of interests. --Oldak Quill 19:17, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
- I was about to suggest this(actually add the word "ideas" to the top banner after the parties/movements, but this is better), do you mind if this is changed?karmafist 16:23, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
- Nice ideia, let's do it. Afonso Silva 11:37, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template
To avoid double inclusion, could you please insert the name of the current COTW directly on Template:LPMCOTW, rather than using the intermediate page Wikipedia:LPMCOTW/current? Thanks. Radiant_>|< 16:04, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Socialist stubs
Hello everyone. I have proposed a socialist/social democratic stub category, and it is currently up for discussion; I believe it will help facilitate the expansion of articles. Please add your comments towards the bottom of this page. aliceinlampyland 13:08, 30 November 2005 (UTC).
[edit] Inactive?
nobody seems to be working here...I'd like to move this to inactive status. anyone oppose?--Fenice 19:36, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Great Leap Forward
I have nominated Great Leap Forward for the AID. I know it is not a stub, but it is certainly Leftist and could do with some improvement, so if anyone wants to help (or indeed vote), I would be grateful.-Estrellador* 17:35, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] This collaboration is dead
This collaboration is dead, no one participates. Why don't we create a hub page, a Portal, like Portal:Leftism or something like that? It would be a way to gather leftist contributors. What do you think? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Afonso Silva (talk • contribs) 9 May 2006.
- I'm not particularly interested in "gathering leftist contributors" (though I suppose some would say I am one). I'm interested in gathering contributors who will write from a neutral point of view about the Left. That said, yes, a portal might be a good idea, but so would someone reviving this collaboration project. - Jmabel | Talk 16:45, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm interested in gathering leftist contributors as leftist contributors use to contribute to leftism related articles, and that's what we want with this collaboration. Everybody has its areas of interest, don't claim that gathering groups of people that share an interest in a subject is against the NPOV policy. Of course, if you find other contributors, with different ideas, who want to colaborate, that would be great. I'll wait for that. Afonso Silva 17:27, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
