The second single to be lifted from the album, "Big Mistake", was released on 8 March 1998. It reached number 2 in the UK and 6 in Australia. The single was released with the b-sides:

  • "Tomorrow Morning" (Natalie Imbruglia, Steve Booker);

[edit] Wishing I Was There

The third single from the album, "Wishing I Was There", was released on 31 May 1998 and contained the b-side "Why", co-written by Imbruglia herself and one of the album's producers, Matt Bronleewee. The song unfortunately failed to emulate its predecessor's success peaking at number 19 in the UK chart, and 24 in Australia.

However, Wishing I Was There was a summer smash hit in the USA. Despite the most added song on the radio for 2 consecutive weeks in July- August, it only peaked at No. 13 in Billboard Top 40.

[edit] Smoke

The album's fourth and final single was the ballad "Smoke". It was released on 11 October 1998 and contained a number of remixes. The single reached number 5 in the UK but barely made the top 50 in Australia, peaking at 42.

Smoke single has sold 150,000 copies in the UK.
