Lee Latchford-Evans (born 28 January 1975 in Chester, England) is an English singer. In 1997, he became a member of the pop group Steps; they went on to sell 14 consecutive Top 5 singles (a feat for a British act, at the time bettered only by the Beatles), sold more than 12 million albums and announced their split on Boxing Day 2001. In the same year as the Steps split, Lee appeared naked in the magazine Attitude.

Lee also appeared in the stage production of Grease in London's West End playing 'Teen Angel' It is rumoured that he was cast in the role without the producers actually hearing him sing. He mimed his performances. Lee is currently the lead singer of a rock band called The Latch who once covered a Steps fan favourite 'One For Sorrow'.

Since the split, Lee has appeared in the reality television shows The Games, Fear Factor, and I'm Famous and Frightened!. In 2006, Lee appeared in a new reality show on MTV called "Totally Boyband". This show was from the same creators as the show "Totally Scott-Lee", which featured his ex-bandmate Lisa Scott-Lee and her family.

Lee later parted company with the MTV show, Totally Boyband. Lee was dismissed by the other band members. He only featured in four episodes of the reality programme and was not involved in recording their single. Other members of the band include Dane Bowers (Another Level), Bradley McIntosh (from S Club 7), Jimmy Constable (from 90s boyband 911) and Danny Wood (New Kids on the Block).

Lee supports Everton and he is currently dating the actress Pooja Shah, best known for her role as Kareena Ferreira in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.[1]
