Lechia

Lechia is the historical and/or alternative name of Poland, still present in several European languages: Lenkija in the Lithuanian language, Lengyelország in the Hungarian language, Lehastan in the Armenian language, Lehistan in the Turkish language and Lechistan in some languages of Central Asia and Middle East such as Lahestan in Persian.
The term Lechia derives from the tribe of Lędzianie.
This is also a name of several Polish sports teams.
