[edit] Berlin
Hello Sashandre! Thank you for all your edits to the Berlin article. I would only like to ask you to always give a short summary of your edits. If someone checks their watchlist or the history of the article, it is useful to have a few words about each edit there. That's what most registered users do, unlike the anonymous ones, who mostly don't summarize their edits and are more likely to be suspected of vandalism. If you know an edit has been made by a trusted user and is summarized, there's no need to check it for vandalism. Therefore, please do summarize. Thank you. Btw, if you feel you don't have enough photos of Berlin available (of your own or from Commons), feel free to ask me about a picture of a particular place in Berlin. I have a few hundred of them. [edit] Berlin II
Hallo Sashandre! wow what a lot of hard work you´ve put in! The Berlin page does now look much better, I like especially the Bahnhof Friedrichstraße image. I do also feel that you´ve been very radical, sometimes too much so, but think like Trees, it´s better to prune back radically to get good new growth.
- A Berlin Wiki meeting is being planned for May 2006, so I´ve enclosed a link..., as you might be interested? or not?
- I´m not sure if you are aware that there are Category lists for Wikipedians in Berlin or Wikipedians in Germany. With all your contributions, I think you belong on these lists??
- Übrigens, most of us are poor; but not all of us are sexy!

[edit] Japanese?
Hi Sashandre! I guess it was you who posted this on the Berlin article in the Japanese Wikipedia:
Hi engl.-BerlinPage Lovers ! would be great to see you voting here Wikipedia:Good Article Collaboration of the week)
Unfortunately the link does not work. Maybe you should put something like en: before Wikipedia, but I am not sure. Remember: English is not the default language in the wikipedia world.de:User:ペーター
[edit] Berlin photos
Hi Sashandre! I've gone through my Berlin pictures. I have found e.g. the TIPI tent (the picture is not the highest quality though), a picture of Tiergarten with or without Kanzleramt taken from the air, the new buildings at Potsdamer Platz also taken from the air, Checkpoint Charlie, some pictures from the (inside of the) Bundestag, the Jewish Museum, a street near Zoologischer Garten at dawn (with Hitachi and Burger King signs etc.), a huge black-and-white poster in front of the Brandenburg Gate (taken last summer), some pictures from the surroundings of the Arkaden, the Theater am Potsdamer Platz, and the apartment buildings at Potsdamer Platz. It's not exactly what you asked for, but I tried to select the most interesting of my pictures. If you think you could use any of them, please let me know and I'll upload them as soon as possible. [edit] Time
The time is not yet accurate in Berlin and London! It is a 5 min delay ... User:Sashandre
- Thanks for the feedback. The clock is only correct when you load the page. If you leave the page open for five minutes, then it will be 5 minutes delayed. Pcb21 Pete 11:06, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Last state election
What state does the Last state election article refer to? --DMG413 13:41, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- I've just added this sentence to the talk page of the article:
- "This article should have a more specific name and at least one introductory sentence, so that it is clear what it is about." Daniel Šebesta (talk • contribs) 13:43, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] theater articles
Sashandre, I'd suggest expanding the page for the Gorki Theater and others. You could easily include some info from the website to make it a more helpful article. I would do it myself, but I don't know German. That article would not be a candidate for deletion if it had just a little content, imho. --Kchase02 05:47, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Yes I was going to change the username. Thank you for the correct page WP:CHU ! (Sashandre 10:42, 29 June 2006 (UTC))

[edit] Signing talk pages
It would be great if you actually sign your post as I did for mine. Kingjeff 00:27, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
and by the way, you better get your facts straight before you accuse me of anything. You should know I'm no sockpuppet. Kingjeff 00:29, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
If you're so sure that I'm a sockpuppet, then whats the other account? The fact is I only did 1 revert of it which you reverted yourself. Kingjeff 00:34, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
I don't even use those warnings. There's 1 piece of evidence that I'm not a sock puppet. Kingjeff 01:07, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Lear21, it's clear that those were sockpuppets making those POV edits, but they aren't Kingjeff's sockpuppets. I'm pretty sure this edit of his was done in good faith, and he quickly switched to reverting the page to the NPOV version: [1], [2]. No, the socks responsible for the recet POV-pushing almost certainly belong to User:Just the way, who was doing the exact same thing in June: calling the Reichstag photo "Soviet propaganda", removing all mention of Kristallnacht, and talking about how the Nazis made "technical and aesthetical innovations". I've now blocked both Semlow and Ide Nov on suspicion of being Just the way's socks. Also, please do not refer to POV-pushing as "vandalism", however much it feels like it. There is an important distinction between vandalism and POV pushing, and it's actually rather trollish to call POV pushing "vandalism". —Angr 05:36, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] user page box
Hi mate - I was just checking out your userpage and saw the "places I've been" boxes. How do you get them? There doesn't seem to be any code that refers to them on your page, but they are very cool indeed and I'd sincerely like to steal your idea! Regards, DJR (T) 22:32, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
There is a code! Click 'edit this page' and sroll down the code, you´ll find it and you just have to change the image of the flags... all the best Lear 21 22:55, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] =EU cities
hi there. thanks for your invitation about EU cities. I definitely support the EU, and I personally would love to see EU being included after the country, but I am not sure whether this Wikipedia is the right place to promote this idea. I am sure that some people could label this as POV. Some may argue that we should also do the same for NAFTA, ASEAN, African Union, UN, etc. I should think more about this before I support this practice in the wiki. If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it, but use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 13:40, 8 November 2006 (UTC)- Slapping a "GFDL" tag on a photo doesn't make it so. If the copyright holder says "non-commercial use only", then it isn't GFDL, and we can't use the photo. I've deleted it again. Please look for photos that allow commercial reuse (CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, GFDL, public domain). —Angr 06:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
==Please Use Edit Summaries==
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 19:16, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
