[edit] RE: Wikipedia:WikiProject Categories
Hi there! Thanks for correcting some of my spelling mistakes on Wikipedia:WikiProject Categories. I also noticed that you changed a lot of the words I had spelt using UK-English to US-English spellings. While I don't mind that, I wanted to be sure that you knew that Wikipedia allows both styles of spelling (Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English)), otherwise you will be going to a lot of effort for something that Wikipedia treats liberally ;) Apart from that, keep up the good work - I like what you've done with your user page. - Thank you for the spelling tip. I spell-checked with micro. word and didn't recognize the UK-English. — LeaMaimone 22:36, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] mercury history
Saw your note there. I'd be interested in reading more history of its use in medicine. Pls let me know if you end up doing it. Also, your User page is terrific. (Though I still haven't figured out how the creative commons thing helps.) Turq 15:31, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
- I'll get back to the mercury articles eventually. (Most of my wiki time is spent over at Wikicommons these days.) I began adding to the Mercury(II) chloride article and intended to begin the medicinal history there. I have a bunch of notes and resources on its use in the early part of the last century (known then as mercury bichloride). Actually, there is quite a trail through there: intentional & accidental poisonings, legislation regarding potentially lethal medicines, poison bottles...
- Thank you for the compliment. Dual-licencing with CC allows my contributions to be used outside of the requirements of the GFDL. I only ask that I am given credit and that my work continue to be released under the same CC license. I do this simply because (it's simple, and) it is the liscensing I also use for non-wiki work. It just tags along with the content. -- LeaMaimone 02:31, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] commons:Template:Todo 2
- Halló Lea! I found your version of template:todo. At nukawiki:Template:Task – nukawiki:Project:Templates/Template:Task I have created a template which can be used in the image namespace etc. as well.
- I like the design of your user page. I need to finish lots of issues at "nukawiki" (sort order of categories, stealth links etc.). Would be happy if you would have some time to create or suggest an alternate nukawiki:Project:Manual of style. Best regards Gangleri | Th | T 08:02, 2005 Jun 1 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Ateles PrimatesOfPanama.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ateles PrimatesOfPanama.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Sherool (talk) 13:43, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
