League of the Ten Jurisdictions

The League of the Ten Jurisdictions (Zehngerichtebund) of Raetia (the later Grisons) was established in 1436 by the people of ten bailiwicks in the former county of Toggenburg, as the dynasty of Toggenburg had become extinct.
