Leafia (リーフィア Rīfia?) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Leafia in the games, anime, and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]
[edit] Appearance
Leafia bears resemblance to a fox. Its fur is a light tan color. Its tail and ears look like tattered leaves. It has a curling leaf in the shape of a crescent on its forehead, and tiny leaves coming out of its legs.
[edit] In the video games
Leafia will make its first appearance in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, alongside with many other Pokémon.
Leafia can be evolved from Eevee by leveling it up in front of the Moss Rock, in the northwestern part of Hakutai Forest.
Leafia's Leaf Guard ability, a new ability introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, cures all status anomalies when the weather condition is sunny.
