[edit] Userboxes
Hi again! I notice you've discovered the userboxes. :) You might be interested in reading Wikipedia:Userboxes to see how you can tidy them up so they don't consume your userpage, and so that other people can actually digest them in a useful way. If you look around at other userpages, you might get ideas for good ways to organize your own page. Let me know if I can help at all. Cheers! Cantara 06:07, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Cantara 05:45, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, not a problem. You're new, etc. etc., and the pages that describe these things can be kind of hard to find. A good rule of thumb with templates (which refers to basically anything you see in a box on an article) is to read them carefully, especially the pages they link to if you're confused about what they mean, and discuss anything you want to do about them on the article's talk page. And, for the record, when you're leaving someone a note, or making a comment on a talk page, it's a good idea to sign your name with four tildes (~~~~), which automatically inserts your name and a time/date stamp (you can see this at work on this page). Three tildes will leave just your name. This makes it really easy to know who left what comment, and to reply to them. If you ever have a question, feel free to leave me a note and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can. Cheers! Cantara 06:21, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A small formatting fix on your userpage
Hi, Lbr123!
I did a small formatting change on your userpage so that your 5th favourite movie was on its own line. Feel free to change it back if you don't like it that way! Kareeser|Talk! 04:59, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Lefty UBX
I saw your comment on the lefthanded page, and here is the comment I left there:
Lbr123, I am a fellow lefty and the UBX you can add to your page is: {{User left-handed}}. This will also add you to a category which displays other Lefty users; just another neat Wikipedia trick. Good luck on your future edits. --Jared [T]/[+] 20:18, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Digi_Comp_II.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Digi_Comp_II.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 12:17, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:DigicompII.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:DigicompII.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Fall Out Boy and Franz Ferdinand
Hi! I'm not sure if you got my reply or not, so I thought I'd paste it on your page. I've obviously just realized that I can use the 'history' button...
Great! You can join the "I Hate Fall Out Boy" club that my sister jokes about starting. I also hate them with passion. As for my favorite Franz song...That's tricky. My latest favorite is "Fabulously Lazy", but I also love "Jacqueline", and "The Fallen", and "Evil and a Heathen", and "The Dark of the Matinée", and and...I could go on. I wish they had won Best Alternative Album at the Grammys! I'm also a White Stripes fan, but I really like You Could Have It So Much Better more than Get Behind Me Satan.
Don't forget to sign your posts with the four tildes!

[edit] Your VandalProof Application
Dear Lbr123,
Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact with the new 1.2 version release it has even more power. As such we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that for security reasons, VandalProof's creator requires it's users to have made 250 edits to articles, which you have not. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again in the not too distant future. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. - Glen Stollery 07:05, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. You can see your edit count here. Bear in mind, our minimum is 250 mainspace edits (you currently have just under 150) Thanks again - Glen Stollery 07:24, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Musicals
Hi! I'm leaving you this message because your name is listed as a participant in WikiProject Musicals (previously WikiProject Broadway) or I feel you may be interested in the project. It seems that the project has laid dormant for quite awhile, but I would like to work toward getting it up and operative. I have a few ideas that I've outlined on the talk page, and would love your input. Working together, I think we can signifigantly improve the quality of the articles relating to musicals on Wikipedia. — MusicMaker 06:04, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Joke edit?
Hi. You just left a message on my talk page. Which one of my edits do you think was a joke? I did do one yesterday ("Alice-quoter" on List of ethnic slurs). Was that it? Or was it something else? Thanks. Steve Dufour 22:01, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the follow-up. Glad there was no problem. Keep up the good work here. Steve Dufour 22:14, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding the SpongeBob WikiProject
Attention, member of Wikiproject SpongeBob SquarePants. This project is up for deletion at this page. ForestH2 has become a sockpuppeter and is being blocked from Wikipedia. So, he will most likely not return. (along with his sockpuppets.) The board of the project has been very controversal. I am removing the board (as it is contoversal and wont really matter) as a result. This project can improve if it can undergo clean-up (which i am in the process of) But, most of all, it needs to be kept. So, I hope you can support this project from its time of inactivity and save it from deletion, then we can continue to improve SpongeBob SquarePants articles. I would hope that you would support with me, but please voice your opinion by clicking here: Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Wikiproject SpongeBob SquarePants. Thank-you. -AMK152 17:02, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Concordia Newsletter
Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.
[edit] Help out now!
- Try and help people remain civil! Talk to them, and help them in any way possible. Do not be afraid to use the talk page.
- Give people the Civility Barnstar.
- Make and spread some Wikitokens so people know there are people to help if they want assistance.
- Add banners or logos to your userpage to show your support.
- Suggest some ideas! Add 'em to the talk page.
We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.
[edit] Decision Making
The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.
If you wish to opt of of further talk-page communications, just let us know here.
