There is no free image to illustrate Indian Porn Industry, its mainstream, the cult movie Layanam, its cult actors Silk Smitha, Devishri or Abhilasha. Three of the actors of this film committed suicide. The film ran for weeks in mainstream cinemas, and still remains the biggest Malayalam soft porn, arguably the biggest Indian-made soft porn hit.

This low-res image, unsuitable for reproduction, may be one of the best representation of a phenomenon. Besides, the director-producer of the film is currently unavailable to give a free-use permission. Apart from the intended articles, it has also been used in two category talks along with lists of proposed Indian porn star entries.

All that is in line with Fair Use Policy, further explained for the Fair Use Project.
