Talk:Laurus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Laurus is not just the name of this family, but also of a Dutch chain of supermarkets. Therefore I think that it should be wise to make a disambig-page, and make as well a Laurus (supermarket) page. But I don't know what the name should be for this page. I can try to translate the page out of Dutch, but I can't give guarenties about the kind of English you get ;) If no respond comes, I will proceed. I'll check again this week. I don't think making this a redirect page is at all necessary; you could create the Laurus supermarket page, and include "for the Dutch supermakret chain, see Laurus supermarket" across the top of this page. Tom Radulovich 02:53, 10 May 2005 (UTC)
- Of cource the name of the new page should be Laurus (supermarket), because the name of the chain is not Laurus supermarket, but Laurus, and none of the stores is calles \laurus by the way, because they are all called Konmar, Super de Boer etc. But when you write two articles with the same name, and both are equivalent, there should be a disambig page on the title Laurus. I'll try to write an article about Laurus (supermarket) sometime in English, and it shouldn't be a lemma of two or three lines. And I don't think that people will search at Laurus when they want the organism, but when they are searching for the chain, they will. Effeietsanders 13:11, 11 May 2005 (UTC)
