Lauren Newton

Lauren Newton is the daughter of Australian TV personality Bert Newton and Patti Newton. Lauren was educated at private girls school Genazzano FCJ College, Kew. She has a brother Matthew Newton who is an acclaimed actor and director. She married swimmer Matthew Welsh on November 4, 2006 at St Dominic's Church in Camberwell.

Lauren Newton has appeared on multiple occasions on the Channel 10 morning show Good Morning Australia which was hosted by her father Bert Newton. With the axing of Good Morning Australia Lauren has been let go from Channel 10. She is now working with Channel 9 on various television roles. Her birthday is 29 March.
