Laundry Service is the first English album by Shakira, released in 2001. It debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 3.5 million copies in the U.S. alone, and over 15 million copies worldwide.

Laundry Service deubted at #3 on the Billboard 200 selling 202,000 copies exceding expectations by a wide margin. However the next week it fell out of the top 10 and was thought to fall off the chart quickly and had it at the most to hit Gold, but with the release of singles like "Underneath Your Clothes", and "Objection (Tango)" the sales for album increased, and was eventually certifed 3x Platinum by the RIAA in June 2002 making it one of the biggest selling albums of the year.
