Lattice network

A lattice network is a structure of elements placed in orthogonal relation to each other.

A good example of a lattice network can be seen in a sheet of common graph paper, with horizontal and vertical lines, these lines outlining individual squares on the page. In some cases, such squares are called cells, such as in cellular automata.
