The Last Autobot is a character in the fictional Transformers Universe, introduced at the tail end of the Generation 1 Marvel comic series. Decepticons know him as the Ultimate Warrior, others as the Soul of Cybertron. He was blue and gold in color, and was roughly the size of a gestalt. The Last Autobot's face resembled, very strongly, the insignia worn by the Autobots.

He was actually one of the first Autobots to be built (Original 13). He was created by Primus to be the last line of defense of Cybertron in the event Primus himself was pushed from this plane of existence. When Cybertron no longer had Primus to hold it together the last Autobot would be woken by the Chosen One, and would use his power to stabilize the dying world so that Primus' children could remain there. He could transform into a Cybertronian spacecraft.

Shortly after the Unicron Crisis, the Last Autobot awoke to confront a danger threatening to destroy Cybertron. Optimus Prime's Powermaster partner Hi-Q, had binary bonded with Optimus so long as so he actually became Optimus; Hi-Q’s soul bonded with Optimus Prime's. Immediately after the Last Autobot's reawakening, Hi-Q was given a new body externally similar to that of Optimus Prime's original. The Last Autobot also recreated Hi-Q and Optimus' souls, providing them a new body which was much more powerful than just Hi-Q alone. This was Action Master Optimus Prime.

After these manipulations, the giant figure of cosmic power restored Cybertron, and stopped the planet from tearing itself apart. He then Transformed and flew Optimus and the Neo-Knights to the planet Klo. There he oversaw the final battle between the Autobots and Decepticons. While the Decepticons attacked, the Last Autobot restored those Autobots who'd fallen. The Decepticons couldn't possibly defeat a self-regenerating army, so they retreated, claiming that the war was over and that they'd fight no more.

The character became the basis of Vector Prime in Transformers: Cybertron.
