Lashmi Kumari Chundawat

Lashmi Kumari Chundawat is a well known author and a politician of Rajasthan.
She was born in 1916 and was married to Rawat Tej Singh of Rawatsar in 1934. She joined Indian National Congress party and was a member of Rajasthan legislative assembly from 1962 to 1971 from Deogarh. She was a member of Rajya Sabha from April 1972 to April 1978. She was also President of Raiasthan Pradesh Congress Committee.
She was awarded Padma Shri for her contribution to literature.
