Laser Beasts

Laser Beasts is the name of a line of small 2" tall action figure toys and were produced by Hasbro and Takara starting in 1988. Each Beast is a anthropomorphised animal with body armor that came with a unique weapon. Several figures have their left hand replaced by a weapon of some kind.
The Laser Beast line is actually the Fourth Series of the Battle Beast line that was released beginning in 1984. While there was a total of 76 Battle Beasts, there were only 36 Laser Beasts produced. All 36 Laser Beasts were released in Japan and in limited quantities North America and Europe. In the United States, they were known as Battle Beasts Shadow Warriors.
