Las Condes

Las Condes is a municipality ("comuna") of Chile located in the northeastern part of the province of Santiago in the Santiago Metropolitan Region, at the foot of the Andes mountains. The area is inhabited primarily by upper-mid to high income families. It has an area of 99.4 km², a population of 249,893 (2002 census) and an average household income of $99,924 in PPP US dollars (2000).
