I have no conception of the purpose of this page, but I'll tell you a little about my plans here.

I love Wikipedia (it's the first place I go for leads on any subject upon which I'm interested).

I intend to do minor edits on articles on subjects of interest to me. These subjects include operating systems (primarily unix-like systems), history and historic preservation, spoken and written human languages, programming languages, literature, and the history of food.

My gainful employment is as a unix systems administrator (solaris and linux). My primary strengths in that respect are utility progamming (mostly perl, but also shell, php, python, ruby, c, and java) and HPC (I admin a beowulf cluster and a grid).
