Lawrence D. Hite is a commodities trader, profiled in the book Market Wizards by Jack D. Schwager and along with Ed Seykota is one of the forefathers of system trading. He is considered one of the top 100 traders of the 20th century.

Larry is the founder of Mint Management one of the largest CTA firms.[1] were he managed more than one billion dollar in assets. Larry pioneered the introduction of the Guarantee Futures Fund. For 13 years at Mint Larry achieved a compounded annual rate of 30% or more before fees. In 1994 Larry retired from active management and is now an active investor and managing director at Hite Capital LLC and chairman of Metropolitan Venture Partners.
