Larry Hedrick

Larry Hedrick (born December 12, 1940) is a North Carolina-born businessman and former NASCAR team owner.

In 1976, he formed Statesville Auto Auction, which became one of the largest and most profitable auto sales businesses until it was sold to Manheim Auctions in 1993. Hedrick also owned and operated Larry Hedrick Motorsports, a NASCAR team which ran from 1990 to 2000 after a sponsorship fallout with Big Daddy's BBQ Sauce. He also was the president of the minor-league baseball team, the Piedmont Boll Weevils.
