Larisa Yurievna Selezneva (Russian: Лариса Юрьевна Селезнева) (September 12, 1963) is a former Soviet pairs figure skater. She trained at Zenit in Leningrad. She won the World Junior Championships with partner Oleg Makarov in 1980 and 1981. They went on to win the European Championships in 1987 and 1989 and to come in third at the 1988 World Championships. They won the bronze medal at the 1984 Sarajevo Olympics. Selezneva was awarded the Medal for Distinguished Labor (1984).[1]


Selezneva and Makarov are married and currently coach at the Ice Time Sports Complex in Newburgh, New York. Their daughter, Ksenia Makarova, has qualified to compete at the 2007 U.S. Championships in Novice Ladies.
