Laredo International Airport (IATA: LRD, ICAO: KLRD) is a public airport located 3 mi (4.8 km) northeast of Laredo, Texas. The airport has three runways and is served by three commercial airlines.
From July 2005 to July 2006, LRD enlpaned 87,000 passengers, a 16 percent increase in three years. In 2004, LRD landed 365 million pounds of cargo, a 34 percent increase from the year before.

There is one, two-floor terminal at the Laredo International Airport. The bottom floor contains the check-in counters, a gift shop, a restaurant, baggage claim, and US customs. The top floor contains two security lanes and four gates, all with jetways. Gates 3 and 4 allow direct access to US customs.
