I thought the comment that Laotian Americans would take on Thai identities so they can make Thai Restaurants interesting. I know more Thai Americans but that's probably because I'm Thai. But I know we have similar cultures and language. I wonder why Laotians would make Thai restaurants though because I personaly prefer Lao food and wish I could get more than the paltry offerings in the corner of a menu at a Thai restaurant. Sadly there are no Laotian restaurants in the Washington DC area.
