Laohekou

Laohekou (Simplified Chinese: 老河口, Hanyu Pinyin: Lǎohékǒu) is a county-level city in northwestern Hubei Province, China. It has an area of 1,032 km2 and a population of 490,000 (2002). It falls in the jurisdiction of Xiangfan prefecture-level city. The area includes the city of Laohekou proper, which has an area of 27 km2.
