Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article L'angwic may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. By starting an account or logging in, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. [edit] L'angwic at AfD

Hi! The article on L'angwic, which you have made significant contributions to, has been listed at Articles for Deletion (AfD) in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. If you have an interest in preserving the article, you may place a vote on the article's AfD page, explaining why the article should be included in Wikipedia. - ulayiti (talk) 22:25, 8 September 2005 (UTC)

To merit the inclusion on an article in Wikipedia, the subject matter should be important, or notable, enough to deserve a place in an encyclopaedia. We get a lot of articles on artificial languages, and they tend to get deleted since they're usually not of much significance. This is an encyclopaedia, after all, and you can't write about just anything on it. However, if you think L'angwic should be included here, you should justify your case by for example mentioning the number of speakers the language has (and prove that), and whether it's been mentioned in the media.

It's not my decision whether or not to delete it anyhow. You should probably post your comments at the article's AfD page, which is where the community decides whether to keep or delete the page (see WP:AFD). - ulayiti (talk) 23:08, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
