My name is Chris Olin. I answer to several different names, most of which are nicknames I'm christened with by various people. The more common ones are "Doogie, Lan, and Olin". However, I would prefer it if I'm called Chris.

I was born in November 1988 in Rochester, New York. According to my parents, I was born during a small earthquake, which I believe may have been an aftershock from the Saguenany earthquake that hit Canada the same day.

I was born slightly autistic. In my middle school years, this was obvious. Years later, I've learned to function almost perfectly without the aid of any medication.

I should be graduating from the Rush-Henrietta Senior High School in 2007.

[edit] Hobbies and interests

Most of my interests and hobbies have something to do with electronics and computers. I'm interested in computer programming, computer networking and computer hacking. My interests alone have caused me to be the scapegoat in several situations in the past where I've been accused and punished for actions I never did.

I own two computers. A desktop computer that I've built myself. The specs are a KT4V motherboard, an AMD Athlon 2000+ XP processor, a nVida GeForce4 MX 440 video card, a LG-GSA H10N CD/DVD writer, 512MB of DDR1 RAM, a Plantronics GameCon Pro 1 headset, and a 80GB HDD running Windows XP.

My laptop is a Gateway MX6025 with an Atheros MiniPCI wireless card dual-booting Backtrack Beta 2 and Windows XP.

[edit] Digital audio and music

I'm a mild audiophile. All my music is encoded in Ogg Vorbis @ -q6. I generally dislike MP3s and I harbor a even greater dislike for iPods. I myself own an iRiver h320 that's running Rockbox firmware.

As far as music goes, I generally like classical, rock, and techno. Sometimes, I'll listen to a little jazz. Some of the more common artists I listen to are Metallica, The Prodigy, Dragonforce, Cosmic Gate, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Howard Shore, and John Williams.

When I get the chance, I'll pop a DVD in my computer and kick back on my bed. As far as movies go, I found The Matrix to be one of the best movies I've seen. Both the plot and the way it was filmed was perfect.

When it comes to television, there's only a few shows I watch. One is an anime series called Ghost In The Shell. Another is a science fiction series called Doctor Who. If I'm bored, the first thing I'll check to see is on is MythBusters.
