[edit] Balance

There should be less on technical specs of the construction of the first satellite, and more detail on what kind of data the satellites collect, and how it is used. AnonMoos 06:18, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Improvement campaign

I'm taking steps to beef up the Landsat pages a bit. As a first step, I've added a navbox (to more easily facilitate movement throughout the articles related to the Landsat program) and a new Earth Satellite infobox template that I'd like to use to standardize the way that the articles present the high-level information about each spacecraft. I realize that there's a lot more information that can be put in the infoboxes (manufacturer, weight, payload information, decommission dates, etc.) I'd also like to eventually write (or contribute to the development of) articles on the RBV, MSS, TM, and ETM+ instruments. (ETM can probably be skipped since the only operational instrument is on the bottom of the Indian Ocean.) Comments and/or improvements welcome. Seventypercent 05:20, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
