Languages of Senegal

The official language of Senegal is French. Wolof is the most widely spoken language. Wolof is related to Fula (Pulaar), which is also spoken by a large part of the population.
Mande languages spoken include Soninke, Mandinka, and Bambara (the latter two are closely related Manding languages).
Other languages include Serer and Jola.
