Langhirano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 90 km west of Bologna and about 20 km south of Parma. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,934 and an area of 70.8 km2.[1]

The municipality of Langhirano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Antesica, Arola, Berzola, Calicella, Casatico, Case Manfredelli, Case Ughi, Cattabiano, Costa di Castrignano, Cozzano, Fontana, Goiano, Il Chioso, Manzano, Mattaleto, Pastorello, Pilastro, Pranello, Querceto, Quinzano, Riano, Sodina, Strognano, Tabbiano, Tordenaso, Torrechiara, Valle di Castrignano, Vidiana, and Villaggio Pineta.

Langhirano borders the following municipalities: Calestano, Corniglio, Felino, Lesignano de' Bagni, Neviano degli Arduini, Parma, Tizzano Val Parma.
