Lancaster New Era

The Lancaster New Era is a daily afternoon newspaper published in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The newspaper serves the central Pennsylvania area and is the largest-circulation afternoon newspaper in Pennsylvania. It is the only afternoon publication in Pennsylvania. It is owned by Lancaster Newspapers, and along with its older sister publication, the morning Lancaster Intelligencer Journal, maintains an online news site. It generally takes a right wing editorial stance; according to a column on November 7, 2006, the paper has never endorsed a non-Republican candidate for any political office. Its editorial pages carry columns by Ann Coulter, Robert Novak, Michelle Malkin and other well-known right-wing pundits.
