Lan Lamphere
International photojournalist with a wide range of credits including talk radio, television, graphic design, environmental photography, travel photography and editorial journalism.
Best known for producing and hosting the syndicated talk show “The Edge” which was began by venture capitalist Chuck VanVleck in 2001. The program was a huge success among its listeners until a move from the shows original flagship station, KOKC 1520, in Oklahoma City to the lesser-known radio station WKY owned by Citadel Communications. After leaving the company of Van Vleck Lan went on to develop another radio show entitled Overnight AM which was developed by Lamp Here Productions to compete directly with Premier Radio Networks Coast To Coast AM hosted by Art Bell and George Norey.
To the despair of Lan’s audience, Overnight AM was canceled after two weeks when Renda Broadcasting attempted a forced price increase in airtime after hiring a new station manager in 2005.
