LANExpress

LANExpress (IATA: LU, ICAO: LXP, and Callsign: LANEX) is an airline based in Santiago, Chile. It is Chile's second airline, a subsidiary of LAN Airlines, and operates an extensive domestic network and a few international routes. At this time, LANExpress operates under the name LAN Airlines.

The starts of this airline are the former airline Ladeco, established in September 1958. Ladeco was acquired by LAN Chile in August 1995 following the approval of the Chilean Antitrust Board. In October 1998 LAN Chile merged Ladeco with Fast Air. It employs 1,878 staff.

LANExpress operates the following services (at January 2005):
- Domestic scheduled destinations: Antofagasta, Arica, Balmaceda, Calama, Concepcion, Copiapó, El Salvador, Iquique, La Serena, Osorno, Pucon, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas, Santiago, Temuco and Valdivia.
- International scheduled destinations: Cordoba, Mendoza, Rio de Janeiro, San Carlos de Bariloche and São Paulo.
