[edit] Germany

sorry - I had to put another revert after yours - in all the vandalizm a part of a sentence got lost on the way. Agathoclea 20:20, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

It's cool. LaMenta3 20:22, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

don't revert what i wrote! it was fine. --66.218.22.254 23:23, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

What are you talking about? LaMenta3 23:25, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

hey, i am proud to serve the online community by bringing down the conformo-bossy dogma that is trying to take over Wikipedia.. You can't tell me that your ideas are more appropriate than mine - if I want Tom DeLay to have apologized and then "woo-hooed" Interns (interns > WOOOO!!!), then that is my perogative, yes? Yes. So, in future, please remember my opinions are equally valid, and much better reading. Thanks,

(Interns, WOOOO!!!, etc.)

Dr. Ryan Cool.

[edit] Warning

That edit to Santo Domingo was an accident with Navigation popups. If you like, I can stop using them until I learn to use them right. --Corporal Punishment 00:24, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Simple

The page is incredibly non-standard, as I explained in my comment—see WP:MOSDAB. Why did you revert? —johndburger 01:41, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

The page had been a target for vandalism earlier today with nonsense additions and deletions to the disambig portions, which I will agree are non-standard on this page. At a quick glance, your edit appeared to be more of the same vandalism. I realize now that it wasn't. I did notice, however, that your edit to the page completely blanked the content about simple as an adjective and the content didn't appear to have been moved anywhere, and it wasn't linked from the new disambiguation page. I can make these adjustments, or leave them for you to do if you like. LaMenta3 01:49, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Okay. There's already a link to Wiktionary, and as far as I can tell, not a bit of that material refers to a WP page that someone might be looking for with simple. I'll delete it again. —johndburger 02:25, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Midge (TV Show)

  • Yeah, I was wondering about that. Looking at your contribution history, you looked like an upstanding Wikicitizen, but the anon that is the sole contributor to these articles was... not. I just happened to catch the anon by clicking on Recent changes. If you can speedy it, that would be great. It bothers me immensely that contributors use Wikipedia for their own silly purposes. You showed quite a lot more good faith than I would have. :) Danny Lilithborne 03:22, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Speedied right along! LaMenta3 03:25, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandal Proof Errors

Hello, I realize that you are new to Vandal Proof but I feel the need to warn you ahead of time. On the page "[[Electrician]" you reverted a revert by Tachyon01. I understand that this was inadvertant but when using bots and automaters extra care needs to be taken so that things of this nature do not happen. I reverted it back to the previous version that did not have vandalism. This is just a heads up to be careful next time.--SomeStranger (T | C) 12:06, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

What looks like what happened is that we both tried to revert the same vandalism a few seconds apart, and as you reverted it back to the correct version, the automation got confused and my reversion went to the wrong one. I've had this happen using pop-ups as well, and I usually catch it when it does. Sometimes it's hard, though, when you're focused on the last bit of vandalism and don't notice something else the same user did somewhere else on the page. LaMenta3 17:33, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
Vandals -- gotta catch 'em all! --Disavian 18:55, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

What about this one? Seems legit to me. Λυδαcιτγ(TheJabberwock) 01:43, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Usually when something like that gets replaced by a name, it's just someone trying to be nasty. I didn't recognise the reference. I guess that's why we have multiple people editing this thing, huh? LaMenta3 04:16, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello, I was wondering what your reasoning was for proposing deletion of Michigan_Federation_of_College_Republicans with Vandal Proof. I removed the deletion tag. If the Republican one is deleted, then the Michigan_Federation_of_College_Democrats one should be deleted also. Ryanminier 14:09, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

I considered it to be a non-notable school club, as most articles on school political organizations are. I didn't know there was also a Michigan Federation of College Democrats, as I had simply come across the Republicans page in the course of checking recent edits. Considering that I am of the belief that both organizations rather non-notable, would you be amenable to the replacement of the PfD if I also placed one on the MFCD page? LaMenta3 03:05, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
I would be in favor of keeping both. I agree that many school clubs are non-notable, but in this case, it is one coalition of all clubs from colleges in a State. The individual College Republican clubs are not notable, but this article serves (or could possibly serve) for all the chapters in Michigan. Same for the Democrat one. IMO, both could stand to be expanded, if possible, and if they were, would become much more useful. Ryanminier 04:40, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry

I'm very sorry, but my friend paid me $10 to abuse Wikipedia like that. I know that it takes you a bit of time to revert to the old page, but $10 is $10.
