Talk:Lake Buena Vista, Florida
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I was poking around in the Reedy Creek Improvement District article & came across the maps. After seeing this & Bay Lake, Florida, I searched the aerial photos for what would be the trailer parks described in the articles: I found them & replaced the aerial map links with the new ones, relegating the original to the Reedy Creek article, which had none.

Thanks; I've done a bit of editing of your work on the three articles, including restoring the mapit templates to the cities, since the cities are much larger in area than the trailer parks. --SPUI (talk) 09:13, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)
No prob. Still consider it a stroke of luck to actually find the "city" in these places: the map template does seem a bit awkward however, but that is the nature of the system.

[edit] Population history
See also User talk:Moreau36.
[1] shows the 1990 borders. The area southeast of I-4 is no longer part of the city; it was deannexed after being developed. Additionally the bit east of 535 and north of I-4 (Crossroads shopping center) was also deannexed. The rest is still part of LBV.
West of 535 and south of I-4 has been developed as the Vista Way apartments and a few restaurants. And hell yes. [2] shows that the apartments were built starting in 1988!
East of 535 is the Little Lake Bryan area, which has also been developed as apartments, but in the late 1990s.
Well it looks like it's been solved. --SPUI (talk) 19:26, 20 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Map request
It would be nice to have a map showing the city's location with respect to the RCID and neighboring municipalities. -- Beland 22:13, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
