Lake Merritt (BART station)

The Lake Merritt Bay Area Rapid Transit station is located on Oak Street near Oakland's Lake Merritt and Chinatown, next to Laney College. BART's administrative building and operations control center is located on the station's west side. This station consists of an underground island platform.
Service at this station began on September 11, 1972. [1]
