Lake Lillian is a city in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 257 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.2 km² (0.5 mi²), all land.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 257 people, 124 households, and 71 families residing in the city. The population density was 215.7/km² (559.0/mi²). There were 135 housing units at an average density of 113.3/km² (293.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.22% White, 0.78% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.28% of the population.
There were 124 households out of which 22.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.7% were married couples living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 42.7% were non-families. 38.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.07 and the average family size was 2.75.
In the city the population was spread out with 22.6% under the age of 18, 5.8% from 18 to 24, 24.9% from 25 to 44, 23.3% from 45 to 64, and 23.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females there were 99.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.3 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $26,458, and the median income for a family was $31,875. Males had a median income of $29,205 versus $19,500 for females. The per capita income for the city was $16,881. About 9.7% of families and 14.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 21.7% of those under the age of eighteen and 12.7% of those sixty five or over.
