Lai Yiu Fai

Lai Yiu Fai 黎耀輝 is a Hong Kong cinematographer and along with Christopher Doyle, William Cheung Suk Ping and Kwan Pun Leung as frequent crew members of director Wong Kar Wai. Lai Yiu Fai received the Best Cinematography Award in Hong Kong Film Awards by Wong Kar Wai's 2046 (the award shared with Chirstopher Doyle and Kwan Pun Leung).

Except Wong Kar Wai, Lai Yiu Fai also has collaborated with other Hong Kong directors such as Lau Wai Keung and Lawrence Ah Mon. Lai is also the cinematographer of Infernal Affairs.

But, interestingly, Lai Yiu Fai would probably be more famous as the name of fictional character in Wong Kar Wai's Happy Together, which is played by Tony Leung Chiu Wai.Another main character Ho Po Wing 何寶榮, who is played by Leslie Cheung, which is also a real name of a lighting engineer in Wong Kar Wai's crew.
