Lahser High School

Lahser High School is a high school in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. It opened in 1967 with 600 students; it now has over 1000 students. Its mascot is a knight. The school was named a national exemplary school. Over 98% of its graduates attended college after graduation. The school is also known for its high MEAP scores. Lahser has won several MHSAA state championships including: men's soccer, men's/women's tennis, women's lacrosse, and women's golf. Lahser is also the home of many hearing impaired students with 6 interpreters on the staff. Most of Lahsers students come from Bloomfield Hills and the surrounding towniship, however they also pull a large group of students from nearby Pontiac. Lahser is most recently known for a near shooting incident in its parking lot when an attempted car jacking took place during school hours and resulted in a district wide lockdown.
