Laggan, Great Glen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Laggan is a village in the Great Glen, in the Highland region of Scotland.
It is on the main A82 road alongside the Caledonian Canal between Loch Lochy and Loch Oich. It gives its name to the Laggan locks and the Laggan swing bridge where the road crosses the canal.
This is a wonderful place to hire a boat to cruise the Caledonian Canal. Local people are warm and friendly and tourists are welcome. There is good fishing for brown trout and many excellent forest walks.
